Shawn has completely fallen in love with this ultra simple, clean lined design of his "sway" bench (you will have to drop him an email and have him tell you the story behind the name!)  The gentle sweep of the 10 degree angle of the legs creates an aesthetic look while also having an extremely strong joint.  The bench pictured measures 5' long, 12" wide, and 17" tall. The wood for this bench started out as salvaged pine joists from a 1940's warehouse in Tampa, FL, that measured 3" thick, 12" wide and 19' long!  Plenty of these beams are available to make a custom bench any size.
