This beautiful Trestle table was custom made for the Anderson's here in Sarasota.
Zac and Amelia wanted a one-of-a-kind piece that had history but would fit into a house with modern, clean lines. The
result is this 7' long, 42" wide table made from heart-pine planks salvaged from a 1910 built in Ybor City, Tampa - (click
on the photo at the bottom of the page for more on the wood!) The table was stained with a rich Jacobean finish and
sports to "Company" Board extensions that extend the table from 7' to 9' for extra seating. Zac and Amelia
get the credit for the design - I love the simplicity of removing the traditional center stretcher you see on most trestle
tables, as well as the very sleek and simple "foot" on each base. I have to say it turned out beautiful -
exactly what they were after!
