This awesome 10' long, 42" wide heart-pine table was made from floor planks salvaged from a local Sarasota, FL train receiving dock dating back to the 1920's.  The hand-turned legs were made from a 14' long, 6x6 salvaged support beam.  This beautiful piece is on its way to the Skoler family in New York City.  In order to get it to their apartment on the 16th floor, the top and base were shipped seperatly.  While it helped the weight a little to seperate them, they are still going to have to carry the 250 lb. top up the stairs!  Check out the photos at the bottom of the page of the table in their apartment in NY!

Massive 6x6 turned legs show the wear only 100 years can bring to the lumber.

Here is the whole O'Malley crew - Jack, Liam, Shawn & Mandy - around the new table
